Earlier today...

... A bomb exploded in New York. It was early in the morning, no one was hurt, and the only real damage was suffered by a van, but still, a bomb explodes in the most densely populated city in our country two blocks from madison square garden and Penn station. No leads. How is this not a bigger story? The only reason it got an airtime on news radio is because the bomb went off in front of Studio Dante which is owned by an actor from the Sopranos.

Nothing about this screams terrorism but its a disconcerting to think that a bomb could be planted somewhere and without any eyewitnesses the perpetrator can just wander off back into the crowd.

It should also be noted that this might have been domestic terrorism. Studio Dante is gearing up for a slate of progressive works and this could have easily been the work or influence of Fred Phelps or other whacko.

Yeh because the new iPods were just announced today. Also, the government was busy flying nuclear warheads from North Dakota to Louisiana. Also, we found a bunch o' terrorists in Germany. But mostly it was all about the new iPods, god they are sweet.

Valid point but the bomb actually happened the day before all the things you listed...

To right this issue, Chu should jump in the Delorian, go back to yesterday and post about how awesome the new iPods are. Then it would be before the bomb.

Should I get the 80 gig classic iPod, or do I go fancy pants and get the touch so I can watch the video of the kid getting a soccer ball in the face during a free-kick on the go? Decisions.
