I shook hands with Tommy and high-fived Greg Sestosterone. I'm never washing that hand again.
It turned out that waiting in line was the best part of the evening. Tommy was walking the line, taking pictures with people and throwing footballs. The gasps and running and flashes when he first came outside was crazy. The man was a rock star.
The Q and A session was also awesome, probably because Tommy didn't in fact fully answer one question and said 'et cetera, et cetera. I'll leave the rest to you." at least half the time as way of answer.
The movie is amazing, but I'm not sure I thought the crowd yelling or spoon throwing enhanced the movie. In fact, you couldn't hear more than half the movie, so if you haven't seen it before I wouldn't recomend a midnight showing as your first foray into the Room.
I give the entire evening a 95 out of 100, for a solid A grade.
Favorite line of the evening: "This is the worst birthday ever!"
